Smoky Mountain Elopement

Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but they turn out perfectly! Jodi and Chuck’s elopement was a perfect example. We originally had planned on an elopement for just the two of them. A simple and romantic Smoky Mountain wedding with a beautiful mountain view. As their planning went on, more and more family and friends wanted to join in the celebration! We ended up with a party of THIRTY: Our biggest Gatlinburg Elopement to date!

Jodi and Chuck’s day was the picture of perfection, a beautiful day ( and the rain clouds stayed in the distance!), surrounded by some of the most important people in their life.

Gatlinburg Elopement First Look

Jodi had her heart set on a “First Look” with Chuck to see his reaction to his bride! We arranged for them to arrive in separate vehicles to make that happen, despite not being a traditional wedding day. I positioned Chuck under the huge pine tree with the Smoky Mountains behind him so that Jodi could sneak up behind him and give a quick hug before he turned around to see her in her wedding dress for the very first time.
