( if you’re flexible, a few favorite dates). Do keep in mind that weekends tend to book further out than weekdays, and special dates (Such as 10/10, 6/6, etc) can book a year or more in advance. With your date in mind, message us to start the booking process.
To reserve your date with Effortless Elopements, you’ll sign a contract and pay a 35% retainer, which goes towards your package. This allows us to secure the location (Once it’s chosen), the officiant, and the photographer ( depending on the package). The best part? You don’t have to do anything else during this phase!

3. Get A Tennessee Marriage License

Both Bride And Groom Must Be Present With Proper Identification. Valid Drivers License or Birth Certificate. Social Security Card. Official Date of Last Divorce or Date of Death of a Former Spouse (Make sure you have that divorce decree handy). This can be done at any county clerk in TN if you happen to be passing through multiple counties. There’s no waiting period so you can even get it the same day as your ceremony, and you can even start the process online. Head here for more details on how to obtain a TN marriage license.

4. Get Married!!!

On arrival to the ceremony location, you’ll hand your license off to the officiant, who will fill it out and file it with the courthouse after the ceremony. Next we’ll do a quick rundown of your ceremony, have you say your special vows to the one you love.
